Our pastor is Tim Bushong. Tim spent many years in Christian music ministry, then 11 years as one of the founders and pastors at Trinity Evangelical Church in Larwill, Indiana. Tim has been married to his wife Heidi for 40 years, and they have 3 children, and 5 grandchildren. He is a lifetime resident of Syracuse, and refers to this Northern Lakes region of Indiana as “The Shire,” where your neighbors still wave, where ‘farmer‘ common sense still has a foothold, and where things are still relatively uncomplicated. relatively being the operative word…
Tim is "tri-vocational," as he is also a piano technician and a recording engineer and producer, but his main focus is on serving the Church. He reads history for fun, theology for wisdom, and the Bible for life. He also enjoys playing guitar, cutting and splitting firewood, and Heidi's cooking.
Kevin Minnett is our elder. Originally from Manitoba, he has pastored there and now works in a variety of ministries, including regular online teaching in Liberia. He and his wife Amy have eight children and reside near Bremen, IN.
